Travel Vietnam- Visa and Passport

According to the 2015 updated Vietnamese entry policy, visa exemption applies for citizens of 22 countries: South Korea, Japan, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belarus, France, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and Myanmar. 

 

Citizens of these countries will be exempted from visa when entering Vietnam for a maximum stay of 15 - 30 days from the date of entry, regardless of the type of passport, immigration purposes.

 

Citizens of South Korea, Japan, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belarus and France want to enter into Vietnam under unilateral visa exemption in the next time have to wait at least 30 days from the last day exited Vietnam.

 

Citizens of Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and Myanmar can enter and exit Vietnam multiple times as they want with a free Visa for a specific of time. 

 

If your nationality is not in the above list, a visa approval letter will be required. This approval letter will be used for your visa on arrival. BAT provides our clients with this service free of charge. Here is the procedure of how this Visa being applied and used.

 

-          Send us the information on your valid passport (passport must be at least 6 months valid after you finish the Vietnam trip).

-          Print the copy of Visa Approval Letter we send back to you, and bring it along with your 2 passport size photos.

-          On arrival at airports of Vietnam, you will see visa on arrival office (or landing visa counter), hand over your passport, print copy of visa approval letter and ONE passport size photo for attaching on entry form

-          Paid for stamping fee US $25 for single entry or US $50 for multiple entry and get back passport with visa. Enjoy your trip in Vietnam!
