Compared to its more famous neighbors – Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia – Laos often gets overlooked by travelers looking at tours in Asia. Here at Bravo Asia Tours we believe that is a mistake, pure and simple. On a tour through Laos you’ll encounter sumptuous cuisine and some of the most stunning scenery in the Southeast Asian region, especially in the north, which has managed to retain something of an undiscovered feel. Luang Prabang is a perfect entry point to the north, and is very easily accessible from Thailand in particular. Luang Prabang has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and provides a fascinating blend of historical local culture and colonial French influence. From Luang Prabang you can head northwards, into mountainous territory which houses quiet towns like Nong Khiaw, or southwards towards Vang Vieng, and the busy capital of Vientiane. Keep heading downwards on your tour of Laos and you’ll find the mysterious Plane of Jars, and eventually the peaceful tranquility of the 4,000 Islands, which make a perfect, relaxing ending to your journey.
