About 20 km west of the park exit lays today’s overnight quarters, the Khao Yai Nature Life Resort. Phimai was built in the 12th Century by the same king who built the Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The still very well preserved park is home to one of the largest banyan trees in the world. We continue to the east to visit 2 other ancient Khmer temples, Prasat Phanom Rung, a former volcano, and Muang Tham. Overnight in Buriram.

Buriram - Bangkok

This morning you will visit a small countryside village that lives mainly from agriculture. This is not a model village, but a normal village, where you will get a realistic insight into the daily rural village life. When it is a workday, and not a school holiday, you will also visit the village school, where you can practice some English conversation with the local school children, if you wish to do so. Lunch at a noodle restaurant in the village, and then we will head back to Bangkok, either to hotel or airport for flight to your next destination.
