Itinerary

Day1:

Manila

Mabuhay! Welcome to Philippines. Meet your tour guide who holds Bravo Asia Tours’ greeting board at Manila International Airport. We will transfer to hotel so you can fresh up after your long flight. The rest of day will be free; you can arrange it according to your personal needs. Overnight in Manila

Day2:

Manila

Take a step back in time as you discover the "Charms of Old Manila". The tour starts with a visit to historic Rizal Park, where the remains of our country's national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, lie within the cornerstone of Rizal Monument. Tour heads on to the old walled city of Intramuros built during the Spanish colonial period. The first stop is Fort Santiago which served as headquarters of the military might of the Spanish, American and Japanese colonizers until its destruction in 1945. Tour then proceeds past the San Agustin Church, the oldest structure in the country which dates back to 1571. The next stop is Casa Manila, a reconstruction 19th century mansion replete with 16th to 19th century furniture and furnishings. The rest time of today will be at your leisure. Overnight in Manila

Day3:

Manila - Banaue

There is no flight from Manila to Banaue and driving will take 9-10 hours, so we will depart at 7:00AM in the morning with your packed breakfast. Stop en route for lunch and photo ops. Visit the Provincial Museum in Bayombong to learn more about Luzon. After the long drive, stretch your legs on a short hike to the rice terrace viewpoint and the nearby village of Tam-an. Day4:

Banaue

Be board on a local jeepney for a tour of the rice terraces as well as a local village. Banga-an is a traditional village nestled in a panoramic valley of terraces. The 20 minute walk on a descending trail permits a closer look of the Ifugao world. Visit a typical home to see their way of life. Proceed to the viewpoint to witness the Rice Terraces, acclaimed as the "8th Wonder of the World" and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built over 2000 years ago. Overnight in Banaue

Day5:

Banaue - Sagada

After a leisurely breakfast, visit the picturesque town of Sagada. Here you will stop and see ancient burial caves with mummified coffins. You will also visit the Bontoc Museum, founded by a Belgian Sister, which houses a varied collection of authentic artifacts and photos from the mountain tribes. Watch a tribal Show of songs and dances interpreting local culture and traditions, some of which are still being practiced today. Overnight in Sagada

Day6:

Sagada - Cerventes - Vigan City

Today, we will drive (approximately 5 hours) via Cerventes to Vigan, a beautifully preserved Spanish colonial town. In the evening, you will pay a visit to the World Heritage-listed Santa Maria Church or to view the dancing fountain. Overnight in Vigan

Day7:

Vigan City

Free at your leisure in this beautiful town. Overnight in Vigan

Day8:

Vigan City - Laoag

Continue on north to Laoag, visiting the World Heritage-listed Paoay Church and scenic Paoay Lake on the way. Overnight in Laoag

Day9:

Laoag

After a leisurely breakfast, you will have a city tour of Laoag city visiting Marcos Musuem & Mausoleum, Batac Riverside Empanadaan, Fort Ilocandia, Sinking Bell Tower, St. William’s Cathedral and Tobacco Monopoly Monument. Overnight in Laoag

Day10:

Laoag - Manila

Board on vehicle and drive to airport of Laoag, from where, you will catch your flight to Manila or other destinations. Our 10 days Philippines Luzon Island tour is finished now. The whole team of Bravo Asia Tours looks forward to being your tour operator again in your next trip to Asia.
