Namaste! Welcome to India. Meet your tour guide who holds Bravo Asia Tours’ greeting board at Indira Gandhi International Airport. We will transfer to hotel so you can fresh up after your long flight. The rest of day will be free; you can arrange it according to your personal needs. Overnight in Delhi



Today, we will begin to explore the capital of India, where is also the start of our incredible India tour. We will visit the exterior of the massive and awe-inspiring Rashtrapati Bhawan and Delhi’s landmark structure India Gate. Then continue our tour to the National Museum (closed on Monday and Gazetted holidays). The incredible artifacts and exhibits will both amaze you and will bring clarity to much of what you will experience during your tour of India. After that, we will visit the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. After lunch, we will visit a UNESCO world Heritage site – Tomb of The Mughal Emperor Humayun. Your tour guide will take you a tour with rickshaw to the next UNESCO world heritage site of Delhi - the Qutab Minar. This 239-foot tall medieval tower is a symbol of victory and an example of Persian architecture from that period. Overnight in Delhi



After breakfast in the morning, we will take an exploration of Old Delhi. Drive through the ancient city’s lost streets; enjoy an exciting rickshaw ride and walk with your tour guide through the crowded alleys of Chandni Chowk. The modern and the ancient are mixed together, providing a truly impact on the senses at every level. We then will visit the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. After that, we will take some rest and have lunch. We will visit the third UNESCO world heritage of Delhi - The Red Fort, this magnificent complex was finished a decade before the mosque we visit in the morning. Both of them were built by Shah Jahan, who is also the Taj Mahal creator. Later, we will take you to this surprisingly calm and serenity oasis in Old Delhi – The cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, which is a simple yet stirring memorial to the father of India. Delhi - Agra

We are going to head to Agra and visit the incomparable Taj Mahal today. En-route we stop at the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah, which is believed that its design inspired the creation of the Taj Mahal. Check in your hotel and have lunch. This afternoon, we will visit the first red sandstone fort of North India, the Agra Fort. Enjoy a sunset visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the incomparable Taj Mahal. The world’s greatest monument dedicated is love is obviously a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Taj Mahal was completely by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 A.D. as a memorial to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. This spectacular white marble mausoleum was created by about 22,000 skilled craftsmen and it took twenty two years to complete. Explore the amazing Taj and its surroundings until it is time to admire the sun’s rays setting on the façade of the world’s finest monumemt. Overnight in Agra


Agra - Kalakho

Mehtab Bagh, a 500-year-old Mughal garden located across from the Taj Mahal on the other side of the Yamuna River, provides a extraordinary place to enjoy a sunrise morning walk out. Back to hotel for breakfast and fresh-up. Checkout of hotel then we are going to drive to Jaipur en route to Fatehpur Sikri. This beautiful uninhabited city is the best preserved collections of Indian Mughal architecture in India. Today’s journey ends at the organic retreat in Kalakho, Umaid Lake Palace, where we’ll meet the farmers and learn how local produce is grown (including a visit to the in-house dairy). This evening we’ll enjoy an Aarti ceremony in the private temple. Overnight in Kalakho



After a leisurely breakfast, we will get a taste of rural Rajasthan today as we visit Abhaneri Stepwell Village to learn about Indian culture, everyday dressing, life, customs and traditions, then meet the local school children. After this interesting culture trip, the afternoon will be at your leisure. Overnight in Kalakho


Kalakho - Jaipur

After 1.5 hours driving from Kalakho, we will arrive in Jaipur and begin our tour in and around Jaipur. Start with the Amber Fort and Palace, located near the walled city, is a UNESCO world heritage site. The massive For complex was originally built by Raja Mansingh and is one of India’s finest examples of Rajput architecture. Explore the chambers and hallways, which are famous for their exquisite designs and handcrafted embellishments. Return to the valley beneath the Fort and you are driven to nearby Samode for a unique Rajasthani experience. Tour the boutique Samode Palace which it now operating as a luxury hotel. Have a famous Rajasthani lunch at the Palace. After that we will have a camel safari through surrounding rural area. A village walk will take place, when you can observe how the locals go about their daily lives and work. Overnight in Jaipur



Continue our exploration of the walled city of Jaipur. We will visit Jantar Mantar, a fascinating stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728. Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Wind), a intriguing façade built in 1799. With its detailed honeycombed façade filled with concealed windows, royal maidens once watched the streets below through the fabulous jali (lattice screens), which hid them from prying male eyes. Today snake charmers and fortune-tellers ply their trade below the same hideaway. The impressive view makes it the most photographed building in the country after Taj Mahal. Then to the City Palace, the former royal residence, part of which is still occupied by the Royal family and is not accessible to the public. After your lunch, we will visit the Albert Hall Museum which is a museum of the industrial arts. In the rest time of the day, you may take a stroll with your tour guide through the pink bazaar in the heart of the old town. Overnight in Jaipur


Jaipur - Delhi - Colombo

Take a cooking lesson with a local chef and test your culinary skills preparing Rajasthani cuisine. You’ll get to bring the recipe home with you! In the late afternoon, you will be escorted to Jaipur International Airport and catch your flight to Colombo. Be greeted at Bandaranaike International Airport by your Sri Lanka local chauffeur – guide. Then transfer to hotel in Colombo. Overnight in Colombo


Colombo - Negombo - Dambulla

After breakfast, join your tour guide-chauffeur, we will visit the fish market in Negombo to watch the fisherman sorting their catch for the day before head inland to Dambulla, the "dry zone" in the heart of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. Drive up to Dambulla (approximately 4hours, 170km), en route we will visit a hand loom factory where an old tradition is being revitalized. The rest of the day is free to relax by the pool or perhaps take an optional bike ride. Overnight in Dambulla


Dambulla - Sigiriya

Have leisurely morning breakfast then drive the short distance (approximately 40minutes) from Dambulla to Sigiriya this morning, you’ll have the opportunity to climb to the summit of Sigiriya’s famous Lion Rock using a series of steps and walkways which zig-zag their way up the seemingly impenetrable rock cliffs. The site was occupied long before the citadel was built at the end of the 5th century, and it later became a monastery before falling into disrepair. Crowning the flat-topped summit of the rock are the extensive remains of King Kasyapa’s summer palace from where there are breathtaking views. Drive back to accommodation in Dambulla and have lunch. This afternoon we will take a cycling tour through the village of Pewehera. Overnight in Dambulla


Dambulla - Polonnaruwa

Check out of the hotel in Dambulla. We will start today’s tour every early in the morning as we are going to admire the sunrise and the beginning of local people’s daily life. Bravo Asia Tours will prepare packed breakfast for you this morning. Drive approximately 1.5 hours to Parakrama Lake. This lake is known as one of Sri Lanka’s greatest man-made lakes. After the fishermen have sorted their catch, we will take a catamaran across the lake. (Note: the catamaran ride is subject to water levels and not usually available from June to September.) After the tour of Parakrama Lake, we will drive to hotel in Polonnaruwa. Check in of your hotel and refresh. In the late afternoon, we will continue on our journey to the Ancient Ruins of Polonnaruwa. Many monuments pay great testimony to the city’s important role in Sri Lanka’s history. Overnight in Polonnaruwa


Polonnaruwa - Dambulla - Kandy

We will leave Polonnaruwa for Kandy, enroute to a brief city tour of Dambulla. The steep 150m ascent to the top of the rock rewards you with more magnificent views down to the jungle and forest below. You then travel southward along the main trunk road to Sri Lanka’s second city, Kandy, a journey of around 2 hours. You'll pass through a fertile spice-growing area and plantations where coffee, cacao and rubber are cultivated. Upon arrival in Kandy, you will be assisted on hotel check-in. Refresh and take a rest before dinner. This evening you will visit the Dalada Maligawa, the famous Temple of the Tooth. This is the major shrine where pilgrims have revered Buddha’s tooth since 16th century. Its glided roof seems to act as a beacon to visitors throughout the day and into the evening. The royal city of Kandy is pleasantly set on the edge of a lake surrounded by hills. It was once the capital of the Kingdom, and managed to resist European dominance for hundreds of years – long after the coastal areas surrended. This morning you will visit the magnificent Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, with their immense fig tree and exquisite orchid collection. In the afternoon walk through the town to take in the sights of Kandy including a visit to the bazaar area and a visit to the citadel in time for sunset over the lake. The rest of your time here is free to explore. Take a nature walk at Udawattakele Sanctuary, close to Kandy, which offers the chance to see flowers, birds and monkeys amid 160 acres of tropical rainforest. Kandy is perfect for those who enjoy walking - the town has many hidden corners to explore and views from walks around the lake are spectacular. Overnight in Kandy


Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Sri Lanka is renowned for its high quality black tea. Today’s journey is to the breathtaking mountainous region of Nuwara-Eliya which is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. This 3 hours road trip is packed with scenic view of tea plantations and mountains. We will visit a tea plantation and a tea factory; learn how to classify tea and their helpful uses other than beverage. Overnight in Nuwara-Eliya


Nuwara Eliya - Galle

This morning you depart the tea country and head south and along the coastline to Galle (approximately 6.5 hours driving), a UNESCO World Heritage Site where small back streets in the Dutch Fort provide a very charming experience. Evening at your own leisure. Overnight in Galle



Today you will undertake a private city tour of Galle with your chauffeur guide. Galle is a UNESCO world heritage site and is home to a beautiful Dutch fort, with quaint streets and pretty walkways. The fort area is the largest remaining fortress of its kind in Asia! Overnight in Galle



We don’t arrange any tour today in Galle. You can explore this city independently. If it is the right season you will have the chance to arrange a whale watching excursion. Galle whale watching trip is available from November to April. Ship is scheduled to sail on every Saturday and Sunday at 0700 hrs from Naval Base at Galle harbor. Overnight in Galle


Galle - Bentota

This morning you will drive along the coast with your chauffeur guide to the sleepy town of Bentota and the beautiful crescent shaped beaches. In the afternoon your chauffeur-guide will take you to the lovely Brief Garden which is just outside of Bentota. Previously the home of the landscape architect Bevis Bawa, the gardens make for an interesting afternoon excursion. Overnight in Bentota



Enjoy a day at leisure today in Bentota. We would recommend going to visit a nearby turtle hatchery where a local project is helping to release baby turtles back into the ocean. Overnight in Bentota

Bentota - Colombo

Board on vehicle and drive to Colombo (approximately 2 hours) Bandaranaike International Airport. From where, you will catch your flight onward to your next destination.
