Leh - Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake
Meet your tour guide who holds Bravo Asia Tours’ greeting board at Leh Airport. We will transfer to hotel so you can fresh up after flight. The rest of day will be free; you can arrange it according to your personal needs. Overnight in Leh
Leh tour is composed of three most important religious monuments in the vicinity: Thiksey, Shey and Hemis Gompa. This morning we will get up very early as the prayer ceremony begins at 6-7:00AM. The first stop is Thiksay Monastery, which provides a panoramic view of the Indus Valley from its vantage point on top of a hill. After the prayer ceremony, we will visit the Monastery and have breakfast at the Thiksey Monastery Restaurant. Continue to Hemis Gompa en route to the banks of the Indus River. Hemis Gompa is the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. It also preserves the largest Thanka in Ladakh, which is ritually unfurled once every 12 years. Drive back toward Leh then visit Shey Monastery. Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh and was built first in 1655. We will be back to hotel of Leh. Overnight in Leh
Leh - Nubra Valley
Proceed to the incredibly scenic drive to the Nubra Valley. On this drive you will pass through Khardung Pass. It is the world’s highest motorable pass. We will camp tonight in a Ladakhi village. Conditions will be very simple. Our tour starts after lunch. Visit the double hump camel breeding center then go to the nearby sand dunes where you will experience a ride on these exotic animals in a surreal landscape. After the ride you will explore Diskit village, the largest village in Nubra Valley. Overnight in Nubra Valley
Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake
Checkout of your camp in the mid-moring and then you will proceed on a visit to the Diskit Monastery, which is situate on a hilltop and offers a grand view of the Nubra Valley towards the North. The first part of your drive will retrace your steps from the previous day, but instead of taking the Khardung Pass, your route continues to follow the Shyok River for a little whiles, before turning off for the incredible scenic drive up to Pangong Lake, which is a large and extraordinary lake situated at an altitude of 4300 meters. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains mirrored in its crystalline waters, shimmering in an amazing range of blues and greens. Overnight in Pangong Lake
Pangong Lake - Leh
Board on vehicle and head back towards Leh en rounte you may have a chance to meet with the nomads of Changthang with their herds of Yaks & Pashmina sheep, or possibly visit one of the Government Schools to meet and interact with the students at Tangtse village. Later, Leh is reached after crossing the Chang la pass. The rest of day is free for you to explore the fascinating bazaar of town. Overnight in Leh
