Tokyo - Hakone - Kyoto - Beijing - Xian - Shanghai

Itinerary

Day1:

Tokyo

This morning you will fly to Tokyo , the capital in Japan.Meet your tour guide holding Bravo Asia Tours greeting board at the Airport and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free for you to either just relax or do some shopping on your own.

Day2:

Tokyo

This morning, begin your sightseeing of this dynamic capital city. Start at Tokyo Tower for a stunning panoramic vista. Then, tour Meiji Shrine. Visit the Imperial Palace’s East Garden and Double Bridge. Pass by Akasaka Guest House, a former imperial residence and National Diet Building, where the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors meet. Your tour will end at the Ginza Shopping District, with the balance of the day at leisure for shopping and/or other activities.

Day3:

Tokyo - Hakone - Tokyo

After breakfast, drive through the beautiful countryside to Mount Fuji and stop at the 5th station, halfway up the mountain, for breathtaking views (weather permitting). After lunch , followed by ropeway ride at Mt. Koma (or Hakone) and a Pirate Boat Cruise on Lake Ashi. (Depending on the volcanic activity in the Hakone area, you may be able to visit the Owakudani Boiling Valley, also known as the valley of Hell due to the steam escaping from the rugged mountains.) Return to Tokyo in the late afternoon.

Day4:

Tokyo - Kyoto

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Tokyo Station to board a tourist class bullet train to Kyoto. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.

Day5:

Kyoto

This morning, your sightseeing includes a visit to the imposing Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will then visit the spirit of old Japan at Kinkakuji Temple replicating itself and its lush park setting in a pond. Then, visit the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The remaining day will be at your own leisure time.

Day6:

Kyoto - Beijing

Welcome to China. Meet your tour guide holding Bravo Asia Tours greeting board at Beijing International Airport. We will transfer to hotel .Meet local people, experience efficient public transport and see the wonders that Beijing has to offer!

Day7:

Beijing

This morning, see the vast Tiananmen Square and the extravagant Ming-era Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, including the jewelry section. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.Spend the evening discovering the city on your own.

Day8:

Beijing

Today,you will visit the renowned Great Wall. On the way, if traffic allows, stop to photograph the iconic “Bird's Nest” Then, arrive at the amazing Great Wall and walk along its ramparts. After lunch, visit a jade factory and observe the skilled artisans at work, as they create intricate designs.Then visit the elegant Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site.Evening at leisure.

Day9:

Beijing - Xian

Today, fly to historic Xi'an, former capital of China and site of many archeological treasures. The rest of the day is free to spend as you please.

Day10:

Xian

A memorable day of sightseeing today, as you view the extraordinary life-sized Terra-Cotta army, no two alike, buried for over 2200 years; Circle-Vision Movie; Bronze Chariot and Beiyuanmen Muslim Street including the Great Mosque. The local market offers a great selection of Chinese Muslim cuisine and craftsmanship. 

Day11:

Xian - Shanghai

This morning you will fly to Shanghai , the largest city in China.Meet your tour guide holding Bravo Asia Tours greeting board at the Airport and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free for you to either just relax or do some shopping on your own.

Day12:

Shanghai

Visit Zhujiajiao, one of Shanghai’s sleepy water towns. The town’s narrow alleyways exude old-world charm, whilst the waterways are lined with ancient buildings and crossed by stone bridges. Return to Shanghai and enjoy the fine arts and antiquities of the Shanghai Museum and explore People's Square. Dinner is traditional Shanghai cuisine.

Day13:

Shanghai

Shanghai is China’s great metropolis, where east and west collide on streets lined with futuristic skyscrapers and 10th century temples. Today’s explorations include the traditional Yu Gardens and the atmospheric alleys of the old town. Admire the magnificent colonial architecture with a stroll along the Bund before viewing the city from the Huangpu River on a panoramic cruise.

Day14:

Shanghai

Today is free to spend as you please. You may like to do some additional sightseeing, shopping, or simply relax.

Day15:

Shanghai

After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye. We hope to see you again in your next trip to Asia. Your beautiful memory of this trip and our best wishes will company you back home safely.
